Yesterday's spoils.
I got out yesterday for my 1st dig in a couple months, the dump dates about 1890 to 1920's. Slim picken's for the day a dozen 6.5 inch Bromo's, most had dings. I brought home a handful of bottles only cleaned a couple for display though. Anyone know what GLYCO-THYMOLINE was? I like those E-Z...- Pettydigger

This is odd.
It is 2.5 inches tall about a strong inch wide. Embossed IOWA.BACT.LAB around bottom. The seam stops about a quarter inch from the top of it. Dug with 1890-turn of century glass in the dump, I assumed the BACT. stands for bacteria.[:'(] but I'm not sure. Any ideas on what it was used for? I...- Pettydigger

What is this deal?
I dug this in a turn of century dump a few years ago. It is made of concrete, I think[8|] it is flat on the bottom and has several different colors of crunched up glass embedded in it.Size is about 7 inhes wide and 3 inches tall. Has anyone got an idea? Best jug at dump
My digging partner and I was in the dump again today, we bought got her wiped out. We rescued are best jug yet outta this dump, and it's not cracked at all[:D] Anyone have any info? Any ideas?
I dug this in a dump last year, no marks of any kind on it. The top of the lip is ground like an old fruit jar.
