Yeah I soak mine outside for a few days before bringing them inside to finish the cleaning because you never know... Yours is pretty much the same as mine! Lid looks just as rusted as mine lol

Thank you for the info!! The cans do have little triangle holes punched in the top but again they're fairly large and most likely soup. How do you get the rust off? I'm curious now...
Unfortunately nothing of value I don't think. All the cans are completely rusted and look like old soup cans. There's some paint cans too. None of the labels remain - they're just all rusty. Sorry to get your hopes up!

We moved into a new house last winter and after the snow melted and we started to explore the yard, we came upon a hidden gold mine of old bottles and tin cans in the woods near the road. These are some of the ones that were still intact. Any ideas on how old they are and what they were...
