RE: Nice acl's Flasherr
Hey,
I am wondering about the Indian ACL, next to the "Pops" bottle. Can you post a pic of just it, or tell me who made it or where? Is the Indian embossed?
Brownie Bottle
G,
Thanks for the info on the Brownie Bottle. I will have to research it now.
I am guessing the brown bottle, really clear, you asked about, is the Gibson? I am lazy about cleaning, but did find Bar Keepers at True Value, yeah.
RE: Gibson
I took another pic of the Gibson bottle. On the bottom it says Danville, Virginia on one side, Gibson Bottling Company on the other. Nothing on the bottom. Have you seen these?
We tilled a garden and were hoping to plow up some artifacts, no.
So, I took pictures of the spring finds. Enjoy and Happy Hunting.
I am hoping someone knows of these...Gibson, Indian guy and The other clear one, a leparchan? The Indian one we bought. Anyone know?
Most of the unbroken ones are here, the clear jugs are just that...not clorox, props.
I also have one 1/2 gallon not pictured. Think I can get 70 bucks for all? I like them anyway for the darkness. They'll be good for something.
BNE, Thanks for the story. It has created quite a debate here.
I think you are happy! As a teen in a populated city, this type of hunting is the reason I started going out into the woods, never found any! So, Thanks to the growers for making me look!
From the posts, you would think every lost...
G,
I must have 70 flasks now, and about that many taller, same period bottles. None of them are as cool as this.
I was a bad girl and bid on Ebay. $8.00, old coca-cola bottling co. with an Indian head embossed from Mo. I'll post a pic when it comes, it is the first and hopefully only bottle...
Gary,
I could be interested. You have such a nice collection. We seem to be finding simular things. I am in the Danville area.
Thank you for all the wonderful pics in other posts. I Loved the recent soda bottles[:-] I won't be digging here much longer this spring, too many bugs and...
Looking again... You said it is a cork, maybe it was during prohibition times! I'll try to find out when Seagrams started. I have a few that have a P-160. I still learning too.
Good Luck.
Welcome.
Does your bottle have raised writing..."Federal law Forbids...", if so it is very datable.
It looks a little newer, maybe circa late 1960's? Maybe there is more where that came from?
Turns out my Grandfather in-law REALLY liked his Seagrams. Here is one I am trying to find a...
RE: Another house
In reply to Gary, the house looks nice and tidy. Maybe it will be easy diging, less weed roots? Looks like you have your hands full this summer[:)]
Madman, are you gonna go for it on the brick place? Make sure you have a buddy around.
Here's my 2 of 2 houses I meant to...
