these are the bottles that have little or no visable writing but some do will post pics of the rest when i have more time, I found around 60 bottles in Ackley,IA while digging a sewer line and would like to see what kind of money i can get for them a few of the bottles I will post later have yet...
found several lids with some bottles i dug up most are white to a milky blue in color and one has a maltese cross in it ,one lid is threaded glass with the word simplex on it ,another is clear glass and says columbia patented dec 29th 1898 are they worth keeping?
I dont have any place to keep these bottles and dont want them to get broken what is the best way to seel them to get my moneys worth indavidually or as a block i counted them all and there are 60+ bottles i may keep a couple for myself but not knowing the worth of the bottles makes it hard to...
different sizes with different or no names on the bottom the names that are on them are ENGLISH , PEARL , REX one very small with USONA on the bottom any ideas?
this bottle has seems up the side all the way to top and the color looks like it might be from a dye think it was origanally aqua hard to say,looks like a diamond with some letters i cant make out on the bottom?
11 7/8 tall clear bottle says BROTHERHOODWINE CO above REGISTERED on bottom inch of the bottle and FULL QUART with a crest in between full and quart pic of crest hope you can make it out.
here are a couple more bottles both clear the taller says STANDARD OIL CO down the front and FAVORITE on one side and CLEVELAND O on the other. the smaller says MADE IN U.S.A. and has an N on the bottom.
One of the bottles i found has a cork half rotted in it and a milky burgandy color liquid in it what should i do with it cant find any markings on the bottle will add a picture to this post as soon as it take some more.but am a little worried about the liquid in the bottle?
