    Ayer's Ague Cure

Found this one at the back of bottom shelf in an antique shop. Was coated inside with dried clay and dirt. Ayer's Ague Cure was 1870's-80's treatment for malaria. An old one for sure--7 in tall.

    Open pontil bottle

Hello Roy It came from an estate sale and was part of an older lady's glass collection. I also thought about it being a wine bottle with wicker basket removed, but those that I have seen, did not have a flat bottom.

    Open pontil bottle

Looking for thoughts on this one...10 in. tall, got bubbles, a drippy lip and a pontilled bottom. Any ideas on what it is or age? Thanks for looking.

    Richard Hudnut bottle

You need a light used for rocks and minerals. I believe it is filtered black light [UV]. The ones with all the LED's are too bright and wash out the color glow from glass.

Anyone have any info on this bottle? I have seen several examples of Richard Hudnut bottles--but not this one. It's 6 in. tall and seam disappears at base of neck.

    Rare Michigan medicine bottle

$2.00 garage sale find...Product of I. L. Dodd Pharmacy, Buchanan, MI...8 1/2 inches tall with a crooked neck and irregular bottle shape--from mid 1860's. Not a lot of info out there on this one.

    Free blown bottle

I think it may be modern blown art glass. The neck is a little off and it is not quite symmetrical from front to back--leans a bit sitting on the shelf. No wear and very clean.

    Round bottom..Ballast bottle?

The bottom has embossed KB. From what I can find, that was used by Kilner Brothers Glass Co. Dates are sketchy--late 1800's to early 1900's.

    Free blown bottle

What have I got? 9 inches tall, no seams and has pontil mark on the bottom. Must be some kind of free blown bottle. Anybody got any ideas on this one?
