This is odd!

I finally got my Red book in the mail today,and started searching up the info on my jars. Ive got one that has me totally baffled. This is a pint size, DROPPED 'A' that has NO underscore at all. and...the "perfect mason" is way more offset than anything I am seeing in the Red Book.I couldnt...

Zinc lid era

Hi rwmarler~ Seems to me I ran into an artical that said those zinc lids were made into the 50s...but no farther. If Im wrong on that,someone please correct me.I would like to know if that is correct as well.[:)]

marbles & car

I love your pic....reminds me of an old house I used to explore when I was a kid.There were marbles all over the floor of that old place.Now Im a wishing Id have filled my pockets.[:D] Great pic!

why the holes in the clam

Hi....around where I live we find holes in clam shells all the time.But,we have a button factory here,that is still in operation. :-)

Found these in my Shed

HI John Roy..I'll bet you had alot of fun rummaging thru that smoke house! I know Id sure be excited too.I have found TONS of jars out there.Some I got 2o years ago when I started canning,and they were old then,but I never gave them a second thought. Then when I saw a bunch of pretty blue jars...

Found these in my Shed

Hi,I am new to this forum,and I have had a wonderful time looking thru all the thread posts.I went digging in my old shed,and here are a few jars that caught my eye right away. In this photo are; Knox Mason jar with the 'K' emblem, a Ball pint jar that is the prettiest color of yellow I have...
