See this lot below. All Dalby's Gels and Carminatives. Approximate ages, the unpontilled Dalby about 1870, the American pontilled Dalby about 1830, the English pontilled clear glass and the Gells bluey glass both about 1840.

There is some writing on the side but its really difficult to read. Do you know any techniques to read it, may be a rubbing or UV light ? comments, I beleive this one dates from 1810ish... It really is mint!

Whats really interesting is that last week, I was offered the B&W mint ,and the Sepia varient as a pair Originals dug in the UK, for £2100, (about US$4000).

Me too...........! I love scanning the entries... I,m from the UK and the best dump i ever dug was about 15 yrs ago under the Wilkinson Sword building in Acton London. The Dump was 1860 -1890s And was an old clay pit. under the foundations of the now demolished factory.
