    Ensley Alabama dump

    This is part of the Ensley Alabama 1907 dump. It was discovered about 8 months ago when we were digging in a spot that was producing 1910 stuff and a gut instinct told me to look to the south.     Does anyone know about Higea out of Pensacola Fl.? I have a straight sided coke with both coca cola and Higea embossed on it. I have a Hutch Higea with a C on the bottom of it.

    The old man who has the maps just sent his son in law a map of mobile in the late 1800's he said it showed steets and all. I will ask him if he can get a copy made sometime this week.

    If anyone needs old maps from the mid to late eighteen hundreds for bottle dump research in alabama let me know. I have access. I recently started digging about four months ago, and I know how important old maps can be in locating old dumps...
