    I came across this one in my travels. I have seen many that are also embossed with "EMPIRE" on them but this one is not. I was wondering if this is an earlier example and if it is could you guys tell me about what year. thanks, Mike

    Tough to get a good shot of this bottle its so small, It's marked WT & Co. on the bottom. The embossment you were asking about says "Pharmacists". I think the seam runs up to the top through the flange but its tough to see. thanks for your help. Mike

    I don't see a seem going around the bottom of the lip so I think you were right on it being of the common type, Mike
