    I found this at a thrift store it has a few bubbles on the side and the base. it's not very big it would hold maybe a quart It is machine made and has a very light greenish blue color. The lip is very rough the seam on the lip and the main body are mismatched

    I looked all around and only found tiny shallow dumps all along the hillside but nothing big[>:]

    well I'm back from digging and nothing panned out [:(] Who ever lived there must of not lived there very long because it's A very shallow dump after about 2 feet down there was nothing but dirt and roots

    I think the dump goes back pretty far as most of the pieces go back as far as this piece. I pulled a few other shards out as well some of them were a very interesting purple color I am going to dig there again today after I buy a better shovel

    Hmm 1870 to 1890 that would mean for the area I found a very old dump

    I found an old city dump got everything cleared to dig. But unfortunately the main heap of trash is on a pretty steep slope. So my question is this what is the best way to dig on a steep slope?

    Nope bend Oregon there were people in neighboring towns before then but there wasn't any permanent settlements in bend until the early 1900s

    the only reason I ask for a list 1900 and after is because there was no civilization in the area before 1901

    This is all very new to me but here it goes what kind of bottle is that on the left? is the beer bottle in the middle worth anything? and is that a insulator on the right?
