I really need some help on this one. I picked up this at Smiley's Flea Market in Macon yesterday. At first I thought it was a SS Coke and almost passed it up. It was in need of a lot of cleaning and the inside was stained real bad. But I could see an amethyst tint, so I picked it up. Probably paid way too much, but I liked it and the fact that it was a Coke imitator with the script. Here's a pic before cleaning.

I thought that it was Cila-Cola. Took me a while to figure out that was an "A".

This bottle appears to be half aqua and half amethyst. Different view , with different lighting.

Hey Buster, It is a good bottle, not common or easy to come by. Don't have any history but I bet I paid more for mine at a show than you did at the flea market. All the ones I have seen so far were in need a a severe cleaning.

Thanks Cap for the info that it's not a common soda. From what I've been able to Goolge so far, The bottle was listed as being used from 1912-1914 but was listed as Bessemer, Ala. The guy at the flea market drove a hard bargin. I had to dig out two sawbucks, so I hope that I didn't get taken too bad. But once I realized it was an imitation Coca Cola Script, well I just had to add it to the collection.
