Here are 2 Mountain Dews not sure of the time frame but thought the Hillbilly was cool, and the phrase on the back " Hill Tickle your innards"
is funny

Woodswalker,Thanks for going to the effort to find that. What a hoot! Ahhh this is sad, I actually have very vivid memories of those commercials. I'm thinking these are older. I am going to try to find info so I can post the ages.

Earliest date for Mountain Dew is 1940's , so best I can tell these bottles date to the 40's. Can't find any Dew site that has pictures of them. If anyone has value information please let me know.
Thanks

The Mountain Dew ND/NR (No Deposit No Return) bottles you have pictured are from the Pepsi era of Mountain Dew history which started in 1964. The most common dates on these are 1965 and 1966 which is what your bottles most likely are. Yours are the squat orange peel all over the body variation of these bottles, there are other variations as well. Look over my Mountain Dew collection page on my site and scroll about half way down and you will see you bottles along with other variations of these bottles and the only true rare embossed Mountain Dew ND/NR the One Pint. Unfortunately the 10oz in most of it's variations, the Hillbilly screw tops seem to be scarcer, are fairly common.

Behold! The Shrine of DEW! Your page would make my wife thirsty. She is a Dew addict of many years. 24oz every morning (hurray for Sams Club) All you need now is one of them Mt Dew Christmas trees we see every Christmas in email.

What do you think the value of the bottles is? If you don't want to comment I understand.
