I finally got my Red book in the mail today, and started searching up the info on my jars.
Ive got one that has me totally baffled.
This is a pint size, DROPPED 'A' that has NO underscore at all.
and...the "perfect mason" is way more offset than anything I am seeing in the
Red Book.I couldnt find any with a dropped 'A' and no underscore....
Is this a rare jar? The jar looked clear to me,but when I held it under the
florecent light to snap the pic...it looks very yellow.
Is this a rare jar?

Hi Tammy Ann, I believe you'll find your jar is no. 285, a reworked mold for a Drey Perfect Mason. You might even be able to see some ghosting of the lettering for Drey under Ball. It's a pretty good find at $20-$25 for a pint. -Tammy
