I like big glass bottles for fermentation. For 11 bucks a pop, couldn't go wrong.

Finding enough bottles to put it in has been a problem. Five dollars solved it for this year coming.

I'm glad some people collect junk bottles.

Well I wasn't gonna be the first to reply to this, but I can't wait any longer.. I personally sympathize, being master of a small vineyard with an average annual yield of 25 gallons of wine.. I'd LOVE to have glass like that over there.. in sunny S E Europe..

11 bucks for carboys isn't bad. Think the going rate is about 20 bucks or so for new ones, and the handles are another 5. What kind of wine do you brew Osia?

Sounds real good Pat.A friend gave me some Choke Cherry wine once and it was excellent. They must have walked the sugar to it because those Choke Cherries are real bitter.Im thinking of making Shine for me,and for my vehicle, since liquor is low on the needs list and gasoline prices are out of sight. Then again, sugar aint cheap either.I just aint sure what to cut it with for the truck.I dont want to burn her up!Maybe Ill just boost the octane a little to keep the moisture out.[:D]

Plum's are what I make it out of. Paula and my friends say it's really good, I don't drink so I wouldn't know. Paula had seen it working and wouldn't touch it to start w/.Some of em call it "Pink Moonshine" has one hell of a kick. I got 7 gals. this year and going to try for 30 or so next.

Paulas down to this now, and if Baby Daughter gets her hands on it......
