Hi, I dug this half pint jar today. I couldn't find it in the Red Book. Has anyone seen one?
It says "Trademark / CLIMAX / Registered " and "WIRE SIDE" on the right neck/collar.

Thanks, Bram

I have the same jar with the wire bale and the glass cap, except I believe it is a pint. If you're interested, I'll take some photos. Let me know!

I believe you'll find this jar to be Redbook #612-1, valued at $75 - $90 complete with glass lid & wire bail. Nice find! -Tammy

HI TAmmy, thanks for the reply. I see that jar listed now in the book, I'm glad I grabbed it ! Mine is a little different, just an embossing variation.

I hope I get back in to Boston soon, I can see if the bulldozers have turned over any more stuff. Alot of what was in the hole was 1890s. I found myself hanging down into the foundation hole picking glass and bottles from the side wall. I'm sure I'll slip and fall headfirst into the muck at some point, but it will be worth it if there's something good in there!
take care, Bram
