Last one I see that came up for sale in 2007 had an auction estimate of $500-1000 but I don't know the final ale price...Jim

Thanks Jim for the welcome. I figured someone on here might have some info on it or have seen one. I have been looking online for two days. usually digger odells has some info but I found nothing.

This is the page to the catalog of the 2007 auction one was sold in, item 504 I believe, I called them and they have no final sale price because the buyer backed out of the sale...

It says it has no "through" crack on the bottom,but I see a huge chip taken off the bottom,probably started because of the pontil mark.

It looks as if the chip was created when the pontil rod was broken off being the pontil scar is so low on that side. Though I have seen pontil scars that created cracks through the bottom. I have always been curios as to if maybe allowing the glass to cool for to long or having to much glass attached to base is the cause for such things?
