I was lucky enough to trade the Blue Blob from the Louisville Privy group I just bought and two Paterson hutches I had doubles of for a nice Schaefer & Meyer applied top quart beer from Louisville. I don't want to start collecting outside of my regular area unless I can get Great Colored Quart soda/beer/mineral waters, this one makes 3 total for me and I haven't paid a dime for any of the 3, here's the new one coming my way...

Nice bottle, Jim. These big, beefy beers would make a cool side collection. I got to see a quart green double-collared squat from PA the other week. Not quite local, but I certainly wouldn't mind having one [;)] ~Jim

Thanks Jim, I was lucky enough to win a really nice Hathorn Springs quart in a great teal color on ABN, and I also added a mugbase Templeton Cream Ale from the same group that the blue blob top was in. I have wanted to branch out a little to add some color and I've decided this if the form/style of bottle I like best....[;)]

It all started because I won a Teal Saratoga Quart last year in a contest Matt ran here, I fell in love with the size and color, then I saw a Templeton Cream Ale mugbase beer in amber and I was hooked....this will be my "Window Bottle" collection...[;)]

I am hoping to make trades to acquire them instead of paying for them...

didn't you used to have a big demi and a few other large non patterson bottles in a window?
Big Demi was sold and I have just a couple of others that I will be trading or selling for Paterson bottles...[;)]

Good looking bottle Jim!

I like my quart druggist accumulation but it has nothing on those kinds of bottles in terms of color.
