Well I had a guest over here for a while, we went on quite a few digs, there aren't many bottles considering how much digging we did. Here's a photo he took of my lot though. There are a few stars in the bunch, I got quite a few local druggists and some pot-lids, there were high hopes for the site, but hey, at least we were digging.

The Hairs Asthma Cure is fairly common & would go for $15.00 to $25.00 , if mint .

Dr Carson's is somewhat difficult to find, not very sexy but still should be $100. The Asthma cure is fairly common $20-25

The round bottom is embossed "CHARLES WILSON LATE OF MONTREAL TORONTO" the thing that looks like a torpedo is a baby feeder with some damage. It says Maw son and sons. I did not find any bottles from Nova Scotia. There are a lot of interesting local druggists though...

toronto has been such a large city for so long it doesn't surprise me there is alot of bottles to be found there and alot of the city has been dug up for new developments so alot of bottles were found that way . it was actually nice weather for digging this week , i'm north of the city but even here it was warmer than normal and ground still not hard at all . i dug at 2 dumps and barely found anything good in terms of bottles at either . i only found 1 bottle of interest a little clear one that is corked but i don't think its that old .

Nice selection of Canadian bottles, & any dig that produces potlids is a good dig, they are few & far between in my experience.

Good luck in the future.

The Dr. Carson's Stomach Bitters was orginally made by Dr. Carson of Whitby, Ontario (Whitby, Canada West before 1867). This Dr. Carson is the same one of Dr. Carson's Victoria Wine Bitters fame. The bottle you have isn't as rare in Canada, especially in Ontario, as it is in the United States, which is what you'd expect for a Canadian bottle. Dr. Carson's Stomach Bitters later became a proprietary product made in Toronto by the T. Milburn Co. in the 1880s and 1890s and later by Northrop & Lyman Co., Ltd. in the 1890s and into the early 1900s.
