I just went antiquing for Thanksgiving and i bought a pontiled A. Richards & Co. Combined Glue & Cement bottle. I paid $5 for it and it has a ground lip and is in perfect shape. I do not know the price or rarity of this piece any info would be appreciated. I don't think i will get a picture because it just seems to complicated to me. But i will try Thanks[:)]

Im real sorry about the pic i am fairly new here and trying to get the hang of the pictures Sorry. Antiquemeds there is one on ebay for a buy it now for $90 so is that an outrageous price? It was hiding behind a couple shotglasses and i saw something different and i saw it and picked it up and it was pontiled and it was $5 so i couldnt resist. So is $5 a good price?

$5 is a great price assuming the lip is original and hasnt been modified.
$5 is a good price for any undamaged embossed pontil marked bottle.
They did make some cement bottles with ground lips which had metal dispensers attached.
Seeing another ground lip example would help.

Five bucks sounds dirt cheap to me or more so next to nothing , I sure would not have hesitated buying it . Don't know what the value would be but I would say you got a great buy for the money .

Thats what i thought L C. He had some other bottles that were neat and dirt cheap but i wasnt interested. He did have a quart hutch from somewhere in Michigan but it was chipped and it was only $25 but i didnt get it. AntiqueMeds i am so sorry I had a typo above it is not a ground lip it is a rolled lip. Im sorry I guess i wasnt really thinking straight when i said this.[] But is $5 still a good price?
