Is this a good era? I've only ever found 1 dump (from 1910-1925) and a couple randoms in the woods. My cousin and friend are showing me a bottle dump from the 50s to 70s and tell me I will need a semi to take them all out.

I don't know anything about ACLs aside from that they range from the 30s to the 70s (I guess later too). Is this a good era?

Any I should look for?

I can't wait to get there and snap some pics!

A good many ACL collectors on here that hopefully will respond to this!

Dig some and take pictures of some of the best.

After being in the ground the labels can be messed up..but not always.JAMIE

If the ACLs held up and it isn't just a bunch of coke and swirly pepsi crap it could be a goldmine. I have 1 dump from the mid-late 40s that produces ACLs in great shape, for whatever reason, so hopefully that spot has some good stuff. Hopefully full of hillbilly Mountain Dews.

cool =)

I sadly don't hold much hope for the labels as all the ones I've found in the woods have been nigh destroyed. Hopefully I'll get some keepers! I'm headed out there this tuesday!

will do!

this is a Southern Maryland area dump, so I'm expecting a lot of bottles from Washington D.C. and maybe Baltimore .... mostly D.C. though.

well, the bottle dump(s) weren't as old as I'd hoped .... more like early/mid 70s to early 80s

the odd part was one mid/late 20s Lyon Beverages right on top of the second dump (naturally broken in half).

ah well

at least I discovered a place to metal detect

oh yeah, and I found a broken 1977 Mayor McCheese cup lol

I don't suppose early 70s pepsis are worth anything
