there are a couple odd circular patterns in the glass. they look mould repairs but
the one is very large. wondered what your input was....

That's odd the 3rd image looks like a different bottle...

Hi and thank you. It looks like a mold repair mark but not one that I can recognize., I checked the listing and tried to communicate with the listing bottle collector - but it sort-a messed up the size of my pictured text page I am typing this on now. Monkey do - monkies up these darn computers.

Back again - for the heck of it. I went looking at some my mold repair records and came up with a wonder about this one being due to some type of a snap cage. I know they used them on a lot of bottles, but I never found any evidence on any of my torpedo's or round bottom bottles.
Unfortunately, I can't bid on it just to get to see it. But for sure - thank you for thinking of my twisted interest in different marks from glass making.

i thought the same thing Sir.Bottles. looks like that photo was taken using different lighting or something.

Red, it's not just the large mold repair, it looks like there are multiple smaller markings all over the bottle.... also, did you notice the bottom marking?

I see two different bottles, these are the bases at about the same angle. I think they got a picture mix up in there somewhere, they just didn't say where..
States "It is very similat to a very rare Ashton & Aspinwald bottle I sold recently and I included a picture of it for comparison."

Well I have been back and looked at similarities that are mind boggling. The bottoms seem to show a seam but I couldn't really see any embossing. I have a problem with after noon sun coming through the window back of my computer screen. We just moved and it is a big problem - along with my age effected vision. That iw a hell of a difference in money values. I will be back on here in a couple hours to check some more. It looks like a case where hands on looking is the only hope of comprehending who is doing what to reality. RED Mattews

I don't think you missed anything Red. It seams to me that it's just a deceptive advertising method. They should have stated more clearly that the 3'rd picture was a different bottle. [

I am really buffaloed - because it looks like the seller might have pirated the picture with the round and ovaled marks from the bottle advertizement or listing for the other bottle. If we are stooping that low in life - it just seems to go along with the world activities of cross minded fkd up people in today's world. I will be back in a hour or so. RED M.
