I probably know less about bottles than you but immediately my eye along with my gut intuition of the circumstance say fake.

Wheaton Glass Co started making bottles and jars in 1888 in Millville, NJ, and still exist today. However, in 1965 they started making these reproduction bottles under the name Wheaton Nuline. They made them in unusual colors so they wouldn't be confused with the real ones. They are usually marked "W", "Nuline", or "Wheaton, NJ".

Hello Lisa - if you would like a copy of my information for new collectors - send my an email at <bottlemysteriews@yahoo.com> I put it together to h3lp newbie people know what older hand made glass items show us - that will tell you when the glass was hand blown. I have collected and worked in glass making for over 77 years now. And still spend a lot of time here on the forum, trying to answer questions posted by lnfo seekers. RED Matthews
