Nice finds, I wonder if old Jim would have that Paterson Blob yet. The 2nd bottle is actually a hutch. Does it measure 7" tall and is it embossed 433 on base? There is a one hutch from Sterling Bottling Works in the HutchBook with that description. Is the stopper embossed with anything? I have never seen a stopper like that.
The stopper is actually a Sprinkler top. Common for Housewives to use them in the 1940 & 50's in bottles or cone top cans to sprinkle water, ect, onto clothes for Ironing, ect. LEON.
Peter Rice was at this address in 1881-82, he went out of business in 1895, I'm interested in the bottle as well as the Brooklyn if available. Thanks for sharing them.... Jim
The bottle is red glass blown recently, he has other molds he uses as well, he has sold a fair amount of fantasy bottles made by the blower at high dollar amounts...
they all look like nice bottles , not surprised to see they were found out of there area as bottles seemed to have travelled back then , last week I dug a broken coca cola from Ohio and I live a long way north of there
