5 3/4" Tall Shell Oil bottle

Looking for any information I can find on this old Shell Oil bottle my Son dug. It is 5 3/4" inches tall , screw cap and has what looks like the "D" in a diamond embossed on the bottom and an underlined "6" on the bottom. The "D" would signify Diamond Glass Co. of Canada.I have not seen this bottle before. Wondering about rarity. Thanks jaroadshow

Never saw a Shell Oil bottle like that , is it embossed Shell Oil ? . Could be I guess , could have had a paper label . Found some Quaker State Oil quart bottles once , never would have thought they were oil bottle had they not still had the original caps still on them .

It could be Dominion, I think that was the mark but Diamond and them overlapped in the use if I'm not mistaken. As far as Shell. it's possible, maybe an oil or other additive?

Yes : I think it may have been an additive bottle. There is no embossing on the sides of the bottle. Only the shell symbol. jaroadshow

If there are two vertical seams on the threaded top closure - it is an AGM Product ;land good for re3 cycling. RED Matthews
