A.D. & C. Co's Best Extract Sarsaparilla

I pulled this A.D. & C. Co's Best Extract Sarsaparilla bottle out of a stream in central Maine earlier this year. I have never seen one before nor have I been unable to find any information on it thus far. The bottle is light aqua in color, measures 9-5/8" x 2-15/16" x 1-11/16", has a diagonal hinge mold mark on the base and a 45 embossed on the ground pontil indent. I estimate it was made around 1870's to 1880's. Any information provided will be appreciated.

It is listed as extremely rare in the 1980 John Degrafft book. In Matt Knapp's book he has it valued at $180. Not your average sarsaparilla.

Also with Matt, not a ground pontil.
This is an ad from 1889 and they were around longer.
