One of my customers brought me in a milk crate full of bottles, Seems he is the super at a big construction site in Boston, They started digging up bottles so he grabbed some to give me. He gave me his card and the address and said I could go and dig if I want to!! Hmmmmm Do I want to?

YES

So here is what was in this group.

Front row L to R 1/2 pint Oak grove farm Boston, ER Burkee & Co, Elm Farm Milk Co., another Elm farm but very heavy embossing, ?, 2 Whiting Milk Companies Boston.

2nd row M W Somers Drugest Roxbury, Unknown Med, Juice bottle, F.P. Adams & Co. Extracts Boston, Linus D Drury Pharmacist Boston.

3rd row, Colbolt blue Sanfords Radical Cure, J F Howard Haverhill Mass food, Plain food, Curtice Bros Dressings Rochester NY., The Harbauer Co. Catsup Toledo, Green Pickle, Burnett Boston.

Back row, Duffey Malt whisky, Mountain Dew, Commercial Wine & Bot. Co. Boston, Filippobruno & Co. Boston, Pureoxia Boston, Stillman Bottleing Co. Boston.

A lot of different types of bottles, I would say 1890's all the way to mid 1900's

Hi Mike, What a customer! I hope what he brought you is just an example of what you might find. I know from experience - and its apparent from comments here - that construction sites can be pretty lucrative. As I mentioned, I've had some good luck across the river in Cambridge. Good luck. - billm
