Hey everyone. Yesterday myself and two other digging buddies found our self a nice 1870s privy. We got some nice bottles out of the hole but here is a real heartbreaker. It’s a quart 1858 jar in amber. It was broken into a few pieces and I glued it back together. I am still missing part of the lip but a lid will cover a lot of that. I have always wanted to dig an amber one and this is the closest I have come so far.

What a beaut..I did even know they came in amber. I have a beautiful whittled aqua of that same vintage on my mantle that I dug.
