Since I am somewhat new to botle collecting I don't know what ABm means.Could someone tell me what ABM means?

Automatic Bottle Machine, (ABM). If the mold seem on the side of the bottle goes all the way to the very top of the lip it's known as an ABM. Hope this helps ya. Spend some time on this link ccatt, it will help alot with bottle lingo .http://www.blm.gov/historic_bottles/[]

Your welcome ccatt, to answer your question I collect almost anything pre 1920. Can't really decide on a specific "type" yet, I'm a digger, and the thrill of the hunt has me bringing home all sorts of different bottles/stoneware and anything else interesting.[] Josh

I collect anything pre-1970. I say, If times have changed since it was made, it is an artifact and therefore should be collected!
