Description
I have not been able to find much out about this bottle. It is an odd shape for a soda, but that is the only way I see it listed. I suppose it could be a beer too. It has a nice closer which I do not find too often on soda bottles. It has an interesting star on the base too. It is rare to find Illinois blob sodas in color except in Chicago. This amber bottle is 7 5/8" tall. It is embossed:
WM. STEIN / BLUE ISLAND / ILL.
on the back:
C. & CO. LIM.
Note: C & CO LIM........Cunningham(s) and Company, Limited, Pittsburgh, PA (1886-1907)
