If you are a serious Tennessee Coca Cola collector and have a few bucks to spare, you better grab this sign while it's still available. I can't say for certain that it's original, but it sure looks like it is. And if it is original, I doubt there are very many of them around and it might even be a one only. Buy it now for ... $175.00 http://www.etsy.com/listing/167365395/coca-cola-bottling-works-sign?ref=market

P.S. My reason for being hesitant about purchasing the sign is because of the word "Works" Every reference I can find, including those on various bottles, uses the word "Company"

No offense but a serious Coca-Cola collector would rather have the logo in "script".

Script or no script, if I knew for certain that it was original to the Chattanooga Coca Cola Bottling Company and not some home-made item, I'd buy it right now!

That looks to be a one of a kind.. It wasn't a run of signs but probably a commissioned sign done by a localsign guy for the company.. You can see the paint strokes in the lettering by an “Old School” sign painter...cool sign though.

This picture is dated 1900s but I'm not sure of the exact date nor if it is the original building used by the Chattanooga Coca Cola bottler or a later one. But one thing is certain, the wording on the building says ... Chattanooga Coca Cola Bottling Company I found it here - Be sure and click on the picture and then click-click-click on the minus - symbol to see the picture fade from then & now ... http://www.sodapopbottles.com/coca-cola-bottling-plant-history.html

The sign sold but I have no idea who bought it. I just know that it wasn't me! If, if, if it turns out to be directly related to the Chattanooga Coca Cola Bottling Company and possibly a turn-of-the-century original item, it would be considered a rare museum quality sign and, in my opinion, worth several thousands of dollars. Perhaps it will resurface one of these days and we'll be able to learn more about it.
