I am just posting this to remind everyone the auction for the Gettysburg katalysines end Monday jan21st 2013.. they are located at http://www.absenteeauctions.com/glassworks_catalog/cgi-bin/CATALL.CGI

here are the 3 Gettysburg Katalysines up for sale

GKW†(monogram), (M-19-B), Pennsylvania, ca. 1870 - 1880, teal blue pint, “WHITNEY GLASSWORKS, GLASSBORO N.J.†embossed on a smooth base, applied mouth, about perfect (a less than pinhead size flake is off the outer edge of the lip. Like bottle 88, this one is also in pristine condition. I don’t recall ever having two examples of this bottle in as nice condition as these are, and in strikingly different colors! Another nice Gettysburg Katalysine Spring Water bottle!

87. “GETTYSBURG KATALYSINE WATERâ€, (M-18-A), Pennsylvania, ca. 1865 - 1875, rich yellow olive quart, smooth base, applied mouth, perfect condition. Without question the finest example of a Gettysburg Katalysine bottle we’ve ever sold! Besides being in a rare exciting color. It has an unbelievable amount of trapped air bubbles, glass impurities and lines of glass swirls that travel throughout the entire bottle. For those of you who like crude looking bottles, this is one of the best!

88. “GKW†(monogram), (M-19-B), Pennsylvania, ca. 1870 - 1880, emerald green pint, “WHITNEY GLASSWORKS, GLASSBORO N.J.†embossed on a smooth base, applied mouth. Pristine perfect and plenty of seed bubbles and in a rarely seen pure emerald green color! The monogrammed only Gettysburg Katalysine Water bottles were blown in both quart and pint sizes, with the pint size being by far the harder to find
