Found a couple more.Looks like I'm going to start collecting marbles too.I'm very curious about the clear bottle in the center of the picture.
the seams stop at the shoulder. the neck seems to be void of seams, except for the seam around the neck 1/2" below the top.The top has a seam 90 degrees opposed from the side seam.it it embossed on the bottom "patent applied for""tonneau" Barely readable. Does anyone know what this might be?any info on the other bottles is also appreciated. Have a great day!

Hello, James . . .

Your "Tonneau" bottle is illustrated on page 404 of Betty Zumwalt's book, KETCHUP PICKLES SAUCES, 19TH CENTURY FOOD IN GLASS.

Zumwalt didn't find any info about contents, but it looks to me like a condiment bottle -- Maraschino cherries, olives, etc. It is common, according to Zumwalt.

For those of you who don't have this book, it is still available for $25.00 from
MARK WEST PUBLISHERS
P.O. BOX 1914
SANDPOINT, IDAHO 83864

This would be a good investment for any bottle-digger.
