I have a bottle that I found that is very worn, but what I can read says "Bad Dog" with a picture of a bulldog. Is this worth anything?

What ya have there is a modern beer bottle. The brand is actually "Red Dog", and unfortunately it isn't worth anything to anyone besides recyclers. Keep your eyes open and good luck finding some older bottles!

Hello Jacob; The thing to look at is the top closure are of any bottle you find. If there are vertical seams on the finish - which is what we call the top of any bottle. These seams tell us when a bottle was made on an ABM Automatic Bottle Machine. I only collect glass that was hand blown on a blow pipe, and a lot of them were blown in molds. A good book for every one to read us Michael Polak's Antique Trader Bottles - I have copies of four different editions and the 7th edition is at Barnes and Nobel book stores. This man has done a lot of good for all ages of bottle collectors. RED Matthews
