Does anyone know of an informative website that lists dates of manufacture for the variuos lines of jars that Ball made? Eclipse, Sanitary Seal, Ideal, Perfect Mason, Etc.?Ball.com was a little helpful, but didn't have much on their lines of jars. I'd apreciate any help.

Get the Red Book, which is the definitive source for dating and valuing jars.

Joe, the Redbook is indispensable when it comes to listing & pricing your jars, but it gives you very little history & very few dates of manufacture. Much better is the very hard to find Standard Fruit Jar Reference by Dick Roller. This book is out of print, but every once in awhile one is listed on ebay. The fruit jar collectors website in Yahoo Groups has a links section which is quite useful for what you're looking for. Good luck! -Tammy
