Here's one I wish I would have bought, nice big Baltimore Davis & Miller Perfumers with a stopper. Started to lose focus at the end! I need to do better making notes of what I saw where. This was near the back left, does anybody know who's table this was on?
My other people pic. This was one of the highlights of the show for me, had a great little talk with Burton Spiller, one of the legends in the hobby. I remember the pics of his collection in ABGC before it was auctioned - WOW!!! Nice guy.
Here is my one purchase at the show, the darker of the two drakes. I already owned the lighter example. I think they'll look nice together due to the contrasting colors. The final pic is the one I bought, held up to the light.
Summing up, I had a great time but didn't buy much. Here's what I brought home but some of this stuff I bought previously on ebay and picked them up from the sellers at the show, thanks guys for saving me postage. A couple of agua bromo look alikes (ca-fee-no drug & adv. co) (red dragon), a couple unlisted Baltimore meds, a couple local meds, a souvenir vase from Bel Air, MD my hometown, a beer Ry tumbled for me, and from the bargain table a distressed black glass squat with a very serified PATENT on the shoulder.
Great show but always a bit overwhelming.
Here is one of the bottles I picked up. A Wireback's liniment from Lancaster.
I had the smaller version a few years ago but sold it. This is the less common larger size.
Ralph Wireback was one crazy dude. He was hung for murder in 1899.
What's up John...thanx for making all that chit up about me you made my day! Lol all kidding aside,it was good meeting you.Mabey we can hook up a dig one day.- still haven,t got my pc back, when I do iwill put up the flick I made.
Hi Rick, got on your site to check out the vet bottle you told me about. Very nice..Dr. Johnson's Dog Remedies. I have going to have to look up Dr. Johnson and the NY Vet Hospital. I think I have a book around here somewhere that may have that information.
