Sold for a sad price. The truck that had these back in 72 crashed and only 20-30 survived. My buddy picked this up (he also owns the only known DeWitt, Iowa blob top).

I can appreciate it as a collector of only local bottles but the age on it just doesn't translate as something I see as highly collectible just yet...

I don't know much about this bottle but I do know I wouldn't go ape crazy bidding on a bottle that is only 40 years old

Well, it was offered to the whole world and nobody thought it was worth more than $22.47 so that must be what it is worth.
