Trash Digger
Pardon the pun, but he's a good--great-- man indeed. He sent me these as a birthday gift (early!) for my 18th birthday which is coming up (not telling when) this month. Two large Pluto Water bottles with what appears to be the Devil on the bottom, both embossed "PLUTO WATER / AMERICA'S PHYSIC" (Anyone know where that came from) as well as a NuGrape bottle of the style I'd been hoping to come across (a 1920's version in a slightly aqua color) and these 6-sided--I think they're Cod Liver Oil-- bottles (a trial-size and regular) embossed "FREDERICK STEARNS AND CO. DETROIT MICH." that are both hand-tooled and awesome (looking at the seams, they seem to be in odd places in my mind, and I wouldn't have put the embossing on the panel they did, as it isn't symmetrical) and two SODA WATER bottles from the 1920s, one is Coca-Cola owned and the other is STAR BOTTLING WORKS from SHREVEPORT, LA. (Two bottles are from Shreveport, one from Marshall, Tex.) He also sent me my first poison bottle, which I find to be awesome as I've never seen one before in real life! And two little hand-tooled pieces, one is a mini medicine and the other I assume is for medicine but dunno really. Then I think this little thing is a dosage cup of sorts, but truthfully do not know. From it I poured out an awesome marble which displays proudly above the rest of my marbles! So, in short (to kick-off a long series of posts) I would like to kindly thank Goodman for his great birthday gift--gifts-- to me!
These first photos are of all of them, and then the two Pluto Water bottles--one is huge and green, the other regular and clear.
