I believe it was suppose to be a cure all for disease's associated with the blood. Of coarse Bitters, were mostly made of alcohol and just another way to get drunk. It is a nice bottle, though I don't believe it has a lot of monetary value. Kelley

It was one of the more heavily advertised and distributed bitters/patent medicines. Just do a google search and you should find a load of info on it.
