picked this one up on the weekend , happened to be down south and on way back checked out a couple antique stores north of Toronto . had actually seen this bottle there before but didn't get it . this time I figured it was neat / in good condition and one I hadn't seen before anywhere else . its a clear 6 oz bottle , has trade mark registered and " bubbles " on bottle and a large " B " on bottom . I'm assuming the bottle is very rare based on my research so far. according to my book a bubbles beverages ltd existed in Toronto Ontario however only for 1 year 1922 ? not sure if any other bubbles bottles exist from anywhere else as my book only covers Ontario Canada area . bottle looks to be from that time period and no maker mark on bottle that I can see .

The attached snippet is from a 1923 Canadian publication which list various companies that were incorporated "For the year ending October 31, 1921" But it was unclear if the companies listed were still in operation when the publication was released in 1923.

A sided bottle using a plate seams unusual to me so I'm no help.

unusual ? is a few others that used a similar design that I have and they were made by dominion mostly , when I first saw the bottle my first reaction was it was a very early attempt at making an art deco or embossed type bottle from when the bottlers moved more towards those types of bottles and away from mostly straight sided like bluish / green bottles that were used in 1910's era . and date of 1922 would lead me to think my thinking might be in right direction .

that listing is likely also where author of book got info for this company , its odd it only appeared once than disappeared . could of closed down or been bought up by another beverage company . is anyone aware of any other bubbles beverages ? from anywhere else ?

haven't found anything new about this bottle ? wondering if anyone else has seen any bottle with "bubbles" on it ? was this the only company using that name ? it seems to be some sort of mystery bottle

Canadian bottlers had a little different approach with design then the U.S . I think you are on the right track with changing over to the deco looking shape . The slug plate was a hold over from the striate side soda . It's a cool looking bottle.
