it came out with toc bottles and i have seen some like it with a screw top. Has this one been cut or was it a cork stopper

Some had corks, some had paper closures.

Looks right as rain to me. I found one recently in an 1890's privy. Top is ground but that's how they were made, not cut down later. Pretty common but popular, worth about $20. More in amber or other colors.... Jack

I've never dug any complete ones, and all had the ground screw tops. Nice find Jim.
