Cauchois whiskey

Wondering if anyones got any info....quart bottle, embossing reads /CAUCHOIS 42ND STREET OPPOSITE DEPOT NEW YORK/. It is a bim bottle but the block letter embossing looks later to me. Only info I come up with on Cauchois is coffee dealers and an artist. My guess is 1900 - 1910?

I looked in the following: 1902; 03; 04; 06; 1915; 16; 17; and 1918 NYC Business directories, under the "Wines, Liquors, wholesale, importing and retail" headings and was not able to locate your bottle. So this narrows it down a bit, to either before 1902, or in the gap I have in my files, from 1907-1914. I do have to get a hold of the "Rectifier/Distiller" listings, might be in there.
There were quite a few interesting whiskey/liquor bottles made for the NYC liquor trade in the 1905-1915 period, a favorite seems to have been sided or paneled whiskeys, some up to 64oz. in capacity.
