Can someone tell me how to remove the top from a seltzer bottle so I can remove the left over liquid and clean the insides? Thanks.

Hello khkirk, and welcome to the forum. I'm not sure if I can explain this clearly, but here goes. If you look closely, the top is composed of the upper dome shaped piece with the spout and a lower locking ring. The ring sometimes has little ribs on it. You need to unscrew this lower ring while holding the spout/dome still. It will most likely require pliers, so protect the ring with a towel (and perhaps the top as well). Note that the ring itself is actually split into two pieces which are compressed together by the spout/dome when it is screwed into place. Let me know if you have any problems.
