Nice coins, WL...! Too bad I'm into uncleaned Romans... I was buying Greek and Roman silver for awhile, but then I went back to my first love: BOTTLES!!!

Hey, Tiger...

I'll try to post some pics this weekend... Wayne G. Sayles has a series of books on coin collecting... One is on ancient Greeks... Also, I picked up a catalog for an ancient coin auction in a used book store... Has photos and prices... Cost me a buck...

I'd love to go to Greece and smell the wild thyme basting in the Aegean sun...

Left to right top: Alexander with elephant headdress; silver anchor & medusa head; Maroneia grape arbor & horse

Bottom: Ptolomy & eagle; Chersonese lion (silver); (not sure about this one)
