most collectors dont like a lot of case wear. Oddly enough I get more for Christmas cokes than the 1915 ones even though the latter seem harder to find. I guess its the Christmas factor?
I don't know about mint condition? but I would say that they are pretty close? I have only been bottle digging for about 2 month's now. so I'm new in this hobby. here is a pic of what mine looks like. I dug 8 of them 3 weeks ago. no cracks or chips really, just a little dirty on the inside. I took them to a local artifact meeting 2 weeks ago, and two bottle collector's where there, one offered me $40 and the other one offered me $50 bucks a piece. like I told them (they are not for sale). I don't care if their only worth 40-50 cents. I am not in this hobby for the money, I am in it for the love of bottles. here is a pic of the front side. I will show a pic of the back side below.
i believe that gabby is refering to the first of the hobble skirt coke bottles. you amber straight side cokes are in a class by them self. those ambers were only made in a few places.
