Condiment bottle I Think

there is a 4at the bottom edge on one side and a R898on the other
bottom has 38 over a hexagon with an F in it if it is a condiment what was in it and how old

Looks like a catsup bottle from the 30's. I have one I found near the beach in an old dump not far from Hearst Castle San Simon Ca, It's a very common bottle.

Fairmont location unknown.
