I found this Beer bottle today from The M Burkhardt Brewing Co.
Awesome color and applied top.
I can only guess 1902 to 1918.
Here is a history link.

If anyone has another opinion on age, please share.
Thanks

Most of her bottles are from this era. I have seen one on an auction site that was earlier. I have several versions of this bottle in my Ohio collection.

I am far from an expert Mr. Bear but I thought after applying the top, doesn't tooling smooth it out?Not really sure on this subject of applied and tooling go hand in hand.Someone educate me please..

When they apply the top, it gets tooled. But not every tooled top is applied. Rare is the crown that is applied. I'm sure that I could make an attempt to describe it to you, but it'd sound to confusing. Basically, they apply glass around the neck-- you can feel on the inside that it was applied, because it's not really smooth.

If there are two vertical seams on the finish - it was made on an ABM. i IT WAS APPLIED AS A BAND OF HOT GLASS - IT HAD to be tooled - and horizontal tool marks can usually be seen. RED Matthews

As it appears to be an applied tooled top it may be as old as the late 1870s maybe the 1880s is the history of this beer company showing dates for any of there products, as that may help.........

Andy, it's a a crown top-- crowns didn't come out till, what? 1891?Also, the REGISTERED was mandatory after 1898, if memory serves correctly. So it's likely circa-1900 just from that info alone. Plus he says it's post-1901.

actually 1892 according to wiki, so that leaves us with a glasshouse which used older glassblowing methods........sometimes very confusing.......forgot about patent dates for crowntops, ....Andy
