Hi Norg.
I think your pot is probably from around the 1950 - 1960 era and it looks like the jar has been painted so if you remove the paint there should be a transfer on the body of the jar. Sorry to say that it has very little collector value but is quite a nice little pot.

Thanks for the info TROG, but I thought It might be older because it has many crackle marks and it was found with stuff from the late 19th century (at a yard sale of some folks who cleaned out their attic).

Hi Norg,
I have had another look at the photo and have likely made a mistake in the dates as it appears that the 2 coat of arms look like the Prince of Wales plumes and the other George the fifth and would therefore date from 1910 -1936 when the Prince of Wales became Edward the 7th for a short time before he abdicated.
