The river has been very kind to me this year. Although it's not easy, managed to have a banner year with milk, beers, hutches, blobs and a couple more items.
Once I figured out what to do, which took probably 2 months out of the 4 months and many miles of both sides of the river. I found out they're everywhere as long as you know how to find them. The photo with the three bottles, is from today. I have to say probably 15 hutchs, 20 beer bottles ,15 milk bottles. The
A.METTE& BRO. is a blob I think, so 4 or 5 blobs.

I don't think Chicago's too far from you, if you want to get wet and dirty it's a good place as any. I don't think you could ever find them all. Took a youngster out 33 he found this one five feet away from me, although I'm jealous, I probably would have never found it. I think the way it is probably 50 to $80.

How do you know how to find them ?

I'm 64 and a older timer than me was telling me how he found over a hundred in one weekend. It's not real easy, and I was thinking dude that's insane. Now that's what people say about me. Once you realize, you're not in quick sand sinking down 3-4 ft. of mud you hit the river bottom. That's the easy part. It would take a while to explain the rest,but now the waters up to chest and how you going to get the bottles out. A lot of different ways, none of which are real easy.
