While visiting my Daughter and her family, we took a walk along the creek running thru the neighborhood. I was enjoying my grandsons antics as he threw rocks in the water.

I was looking for stuff that had washed out of the creek banks. I found a piece of a green pontiled soda, just a piece of the side, with no embossing. The piece is very thick and has the correct radius for a soda.

Then I. Saw a piece with some embossing. It turned out to be a piece of a strap flask from a Washington DC liquor house. I’m not familiar with adverting flasks

from this area so I can’t identify the merchant. I would think a flask from this store would be a great piece to own. I’ve attached a picture of the piece.

We are walking the creek in McLean Va again before we go home.

I hope someone can identity this flask and provide more information.

I’ve been a digger and bottle collector since 1974.
