Dug a nice Green Ricin (poison) at lunch today..

We went to the river dump at lunch today, I dug a cool green ricin.
I guess they would be considered a poison, cuz ricin will kill your azz [8D]
I dug a small one in a dump a few years back,I never thought I would find another.More color for the shelf.

Should have taken a swig as you were cleaning the Ricin bottle to see if there was any residue left. [:D] The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) gives a possible minimum figure of 500 micrograms (about half a grain of sand) for the lethal dose of ricin in humans if exposure is from injection or inhalation.[1]

Thats an awesome find.

Wow, that's funny....I JUST got done researching the most lethal poisons on Google...I had my interest piqued when I read an article about Ebola on the site SCIENCE DAILY.
My search told me that Polonium (The stuff the Russian spy died from in England) is about the nastiest stuff on the planet....
ONE GRAM of it will completely vaporize @ room temprature, and is enough to kill 1,500,000 (1.5 million) people..the terror implications are staggering

Nice bottle though!

Sweet lunchtime find! If "location" is the buzz word on real estate then "color" must be the same thing for bottles!

Hey, all you guys researching ricin are now on the homeland security watch list[:D]
Sorry, but thats the world we live in, your next airline flight should be fun.[;)]

Those ricin bottles show up quite a bit in the PA area.
I havent figured out execatly what it was used for. I'm sure it wasnt made in the "Russian assasin" concentration. It was probably either a rat poison or some type of purgative.
The color indicates it was probably pretty dangerous.
I have sold a few of the bottles and they always bring good prices.
I will try to do some more research to see if they are old ads.
